On the topic of “Cute”
Last week, I racked my brains to bring you what I thought was an excellent post. One of my friends described it as “cute”.
Although my friend meant it as a compliment, the adjective “cute” always gets to me. It annoys me like a splinter; I need to pull it out. “Cute” is for babies, puppies, and things that are immature and fun. There’s nothing wrong with “cute” but what it doesn’t mean is profound and excellent. I like profound and excellent. So while I work on that, please enjoy an 18km hike from Baldry Crossing to Cape Schanck via Bushrangers Bay, which is 5-6 hours long.
