If you see the way I dress, you know I’m not a fashionable person. I can care less about fashion trends and brand names. My housemate’s mom once asked if flared jeans are back in style. The truth is I haven’t converted to skinny jeans. (Embarrassing, I know.)
It is a milestone decision for me to visit the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria. Are the rave reviews just? Yes.
This post is dedicated to Jamie and Mariz, of many who appreciate fashion.

The Exhibition
Although the exhibition has ended, you can still visit NGV’s website to read more about it.
Fashion Themes
I go the week before the exhibition ends, which means it is crowded. I am not impressed, but I manage to stay calm and walk on.
I’m beginning to appreciate this experience.

Fashion is not my thing. Put it in the perspective of art, and bam! I am thoroughly impressed. Extreme, crazy, and beyond wild. I like.
Have you been to an exhibition that went beyond your expectations?
