Hiking in Osaka: Minoh Falls

About 30 mins by train from the city center, Minoh Falls is an easy hike from the Mino-O Station. Here, one can immerse themselves in nature with lush green and the fragrant scent of wood.

I meet up with my friend Yuki and we hike north towards the waterfall. It takes us about half an hour to get to the falls.

Thank you, Yuki!

Because the hike is rather short, we decide to take another trail and climb 380steps for an aerial view of the city.

Here is the view. It is quite the cardio workout. Even though I hike quite a bit, elevation gets me out of breath easily.

Here, the specialty is deep-fried maple leaves.

It’s neat that the shape of the maple leaf is retained, but to be honest, it doesn’t taste like much, just sweet batter.

I really enjoy the hike. Afterwards, we have kaiten sushi. Yum.
