Wing Chun Update – Sept 2014

My Si Hing (senior male classmate), who is half my age, had his first grading within 4 weeks of learning Wing Chun. That’s impressive. I look up to the kid (secretly, because he can be a bit arrogant), and have been diligently practising and attending classes 3 times a week.

On Monday, I had my first grading. I can’t be happier with my progress.

So, it runs in the family. LOL.

Have a great weekend!

On a side note, my housemate/roommate and I have challenged ourselves to go vegan for 2 weeks. No yogurt, no milk, no cheese, no eggs, no milk chocolate… Wish me luck.

Congratulations! Do you think you’ll eventually participate in tournaments and stuff?

The fact that you and your dad both have a picture in front of Po is awesome. hehe

Good luck on going vegan. Vegetarianism alone can be tough, but going vegan for two weeks? Wow. I’d like to know how that goes and what you eat for those two weeks. :)

    1. Nah, no tournaments for me. I’m learning it for self defense, and better fitness. I find it a good confidence booster as well.

I’m actually vegetarian for six years already. Don’t regret it one bit. It’s not difficult. Sometimes I have to wait patiently for my food to come at restaurants but other than that, it’s worth it.
