When the Blog Era Ends

I enjoyed reading travel blogs, many of which were on Xanga.
After some time, the people I followed stopped writing.
They just disappeared.

No good-bye’s.
Just disappeared.

I wasn’t one who commented on those blogs, but I followed.
I admired the travellers, the travel stories.
There was a void when they no longer wrote.

They weren’t celebrities. They weren’t popular.
I assumed life happened and they no longer had time to write.

I am happy to find out that some of you actually read my blog.
But at some point you must also think I will stop writing.

Some find it weird I continue to post after coming back from Australia.
Ya, well, I have to get it out of my system.

I haven’t any life abroad stories to share, and I’m not positive I’ll continue to write when my travel continues.

I would, though, like to share this article with you: The Web We Have to Save. Something to think about.

So, here, for now, a good-bye!

Tiff
