If you like waterfalls, you’ll probably like Biei. There are the massive Shirahige Waterfalls and smaller ones like Shiroganefudōnotaki (白金不動の滝).
During this trip, I learned from Shark that you can browse on Google maps, zoom in and tap on attractions. Sometimes the results show photos of the attraction. With that, you could easily plan your sightseeing as you go (for Biei and Furano at least). So convenient!

This waterfall was only a few minutes away from the road.

This waterfall is pretty amazing. The photos are taken from a pedestrian bridge.
